Neominds Software Internship Program 2012 for Fresh Engineers
As part of the recruitment for fresh Engineers at Neominds Software, we provide internship to fresh Engineering graduates, who are interested in system programming: networking & mobile domain. During the internships the selected candidate will work as a trainee engineer with Neominds Engineering Team and will be engaged in any of the live projects for Neominds clients.

We mainly work for Japan, USA and India customers and successfully completed multiple projects for them.
Role:
The selected intern will be designated Trainee Engineer role for 6 months on probation basis. Working hours will be 5 days a week, Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. One workstation with desktop/laptop (Tool kits & boards will be provided at the training time) will be provided to the trainee engineer.
Program Details:
In the internship has 2 parts. In the first part Trainee engineer will do training assignments in the following topics:
• Advanced C & Data structures
o Pointers, arrays, strings, structures, bit operations, fn pointer
o Linked lists, trees, graphs
• Embedded systems, embedded Linux & kernel programming
o Operating systems
o Kernel development
o Interfacing with hardware
o Network device drivers
• Networking & TCP/IP
o Implementing a protocol at application layer
o Layer 2 and layer 3 protocols
• Android system level programming
o Android kernel development
o Adding/customizing Android
Assessment will be done for each assignment and according to the performance of the trainee; they will join with the engineering team for the live projects. Neominds mainly focus on system programming for networking & mobile devices. Some of the projects which are in pipeline are mentioned below (this could be changed according to the business flow):
• Dynamic TDMA implementation
• Payment gadget for mobile payments
• SIP Agent, ISP-lock,
• Ad-filter feature for firewall
• STUN protocol
• Print store : An application in the cloud for storing documents
Selection:
Test & Interview
• Test will be on C & aptitude
• Interview to assess the candidate’s C knowledge, aptitude, problem solving skills, communication, learning capacity etc.
(Pre-requisites: Good C programming skills, Linux – Basics)
