Details of internship:
To devise a strategy to efficiently track project progress.
Maintain liaison with technical and management team concerning various aspects of the project.
Creation and maintenance of MS Project Plans.
Conduct checkpoint meetings.
Update project/stage plans with progress after team/checkpoint meetings.
Produce various project reports using Microsoft Project.
Manage the overall project plan, tasks descriptions to include a work breakdown schedule, monitoring project performance, and associated deliverables.
Plan the sequence of actions necessary to accomplish the project.
Provide project management to assist the Senior IT Project Manager deliver a portfolio of IT projects.
Advice and support the Senior IT Project Manager on a broad range of technical and project tasks and highlighting issues.
Desired profile:
Education: Min Graduate, Preferably MBA IT
Experience: Experience on MS Project will be considered
Duration of internship: Jan 2012 – Mar 2012

March 13, 2012 3:53 pmMy name is Dinchi Navdiwala, pursuing PGDM in Information technology from Atharva School of business, Malad(w), Mumbai. Prior to this, I have done B.Sc. IT from South Gujarat University, (Gujarat). As a part of graduation, I have done internship in Generation Next, Surat and was involved in designing Charity website using web technologies.
As per Atharva’s PGDM course curriculum, we need to go under summer internship for 3 months (start from April/May 2012). In addition to that, college gives us the flexibility to work after the tenure of internship if company is impressed with our work and would like to join them as a full time employee.
My interests are in the field of Business Analysis, Functional requirement gathering, Functional and System Testing and Database & Data Warehouse Technologies.
