Computer Science Intern required at AnB Education, Gurgaon

We, are a group of IITians and educationists, who have started up a new venture in education sector, AnB Education. We have synchronised our technical and academic knowledge to design a diagnostic (assessment) tool for children. This tool is designed to help students of Grades 4-9 to understand concepts in a better way and give them corrective feedback.

The broad goals of our organization are as follows:

Reaching out to millions of students and teachers in the process of helping children learn better.

A major part of our work involves logic and programming that are intuitive and easy to work with. Broadly, this work can be divided into three major parts:

Output Design: This would be a web/LAN based application. Knowledge of PHP and HTML5 (or any other equivalent application) would be ideal for this work profile. Knowledge of design softwares and basic design capabilities would be an added advantage.

Coding and logic: The question tree is an adaptive software and follows a particular logic in which to throw questions at the student. This logic needs to be developed and strengthened on a technology like JavaScript or something equivalent, which is light and robust.

Input and Backend: All questions will be stored in a database that should have capabilities to store not only text but all advanced formats like multimedia resources, etc. An input interface will be needed so that authors and reviewers are able to create and tree structures and questions with ease. Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL, and of SQL is a must for this profile.

Any candidate having some or all of the above abilities, and an eagerness to learn, can be absorbed up by in two ways:

1. As an intern – In this profile, we are looking for 3-4 candidates who will work with us for a period of 1-3 months during summers based on their availability. Details of the assignment and compensation can be discussed based on their abilities and availability.

2. As a full time recruit – In this profile, we are looking for 1-2 full time hires, who can work with us anytime starting next month.

Stipend: Paid as per the suitability of the candidate.
