Details of internship : Project Description: Researching Cloud Hosting offerings in the market and identifying the most suitable ones for Drishtee. Test drive the shortlisted ones, doing a proof of concept and preparing a migration plan.
Drishtee’s various online web-based software applications like MIS, Portals and Websites are currently hosted on a dedicated server at a data centre. Drishtee would like to move these applications to the cloud because of perceived benefits. Drishtee is looking for a bright intern to work on a migration plan. Scope of work is detailed in the section below.
Key Deliverables:
– Understanding the current and future IT server requirements of Drishtee.
– Quantify the benefits of shifting Drishtee applications to the cloud and preparing a business case.
– Researching the current cloud offerings in the market and shortlisting the most suitable ones.
– Test drive the shortlisted cloud offerings.
– Prepare a proposal for final selection.
– Carry out a proof of concept on the selected option.
– Prepare a migration plan for moving all Drishtee applications to the cloud.
Education : Persuing final year BE/BTech CS/IT/Elec. or MCA
Skills & Interests:
– Interest in Cloud Technology
Duration of internship : Minimum 3 months
