Openedex.net is a Mumbai based early stage venture founded by IIM alumni building an online education marketplace that aims to provide teachers and students a platform to meet, transact and study. This venture will leverage the Internet, which will increasingly play an evermore important role in education as our world changes, and we have to work harder to stay current, and keep our skills marketable.
1. Market Research and Business Development
Qualification: Bachelors degree with prior experience in Internet based research
Deliverable/Scope:
to scope and execute structured research assignments
to conduct secondary research including using Internet
to conduct primary research chiefly of the ‘interview format’
to suggest a go-to-market approach

2. Product Manager / Category Manager
Qualification: preferably MBA, minimum Bachelors degree

to own a student category/community
to plan and build a revenue generating product, relevant to above community, leveraging the marketplace as a platform
to convert traffic to satisfied and repeat transactions

3. Digital Sales and Alliances
Qualification: preferably MBA, with prior experience in carrying targets for Internet sales
Deliverable/Scope:
Plan and execute sales campaigns to drive traffic as Category Strategy
Work with Category Manager to plan, execute and agree on budgets
Carry traffic targets, revenue targets
